Cancellation & Refund Policy

Part 1 — Right of withdrawal for consumers

This part applies if you buy as a consumer, that is for purposes outside your trade, business or profession, and you are resident in the EU or the EEA. If you buy as a business, see Part 1.6.

Please read 1.5 first. Sections 1.1 to 1.4 below are the statutory withdrawal instruction we are required to give you. Because our products are digital downloads that we make available to you immediately after payment, and because you confirm this at checkout, the withdrawal period described there ends as soon as the download is made available — in practice, right after your purchase. It is not a 14-day return window.

1.1 Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.

1.2 How to withdraw

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us by means of a clear statement, for example a letter sent by post or an email:

You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

1.3 Model withdrawal form

1.4 Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw.

We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

1.5 Early expiry of the right of withdrawal

Our products are digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium. Your right of withdrawal expires early if we have begun performance of the contract after you have:

• expressly consented to us beginning performance before the end of the withdrawal period, and
• acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.

Before you complete your order, our checkout asks you to confirm both declarations. You cannot place the order without confirming them, and we record your confirmation together with the order.

Because we make the download available immediately after payment, your right of withdrawal therefore expires as soon as the download is made available to you. If, in an individual case, we have not obtained both declarations from you before that moment, your right of withdrawal remains in place for the full 14 days — regardless of whether you have already downloaded the product.

1.6 Business customers

If you purchase in the course of your trade, business or profession, no statutory right of withdrawal applies. Part 2 of this page still applies to you.

Part 2 — Refund policy

Outside the statutory right of withdrawal described above, refunds are handled as follows.

2.1 No money-back guarantee

We do not offer a money-back guarantee. Beyond the statutory right of withdrawal described in Part 1, there is no general right to a refund, and we do not offer a trial period, a satisfaction guarantee, or any comparable promise.

2.2 Digital products

All products sold by Yavi Themes are digital downloads and are delivered electronically. Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are final.

2.3 When we may refund

A refund is granted at our discretion and only in the following circumstances:

• You were charged more than once for the same product.
• The product cannot be downloaded due to an issue on our side.
• The product contains a reproducible critical defect that cannot be resolved within a reasonable period.
• We are unable to provide the purchased product.

Each request is reviewed individually. Meeting one of the points above does not automatically entitle you to a refund.

2.4 When we do not refund

• Change of mind after purchase.
• Purchasing the wrong product or licence.
• Lack of required TYPO3 knowledge.
• Incompatibility with third-party extensions, templates, or custom code.
• Server configuration or hosting issues.
• Failure to read the product description or system requirements.
• Minor design preferences or feature requests.
• Custom modifications made by you or by third parties.

2.5 Compatibility

Our products are developed for the TYPO3 versions stated in the product documentation. Please verify compatibility with your own environment before purchasing.

2.6 How to request a refund

Contact our support team with:

• Your order number
• Product name
• Date of purchase
• A detailed description of the issue
• Screenshots or other relevant information, where applicable

We may request additional technical information to investigate the issue.

2.7 Support before refund

Before approving a refund we may offer reasonable technical assistance to resolve the reported issue. Many installation or configuration problems can be solved quickly without requiring a refund.

2.8 Processing time

Refund requests are typically reviewed within 5 to 10 business days. If approved, refunds are issued using the original payment method wherever possible. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.

2.9 Deductions

Where a refund is granted at our discretion under this Part 2, non-refundable payment-provider fees incurred on the original transaction may be deducted from the amount refunded. This does not apply to refunds under the statutory right of withdrawal described in Part 1, which are always made in full.

2.10 Licence termination

If a refund is approved, your licence will be revoked, access to downloads and updates may be removed, support services will be discontinued, and continued use of the refunded product is no longer permitted.

2.11 Fraud prevention

We reserve the right to refuse refund requests in cases of fraudulent activity, abuse of this policy, repeated refund requests, licence violations, or unauthorized redistribution of our products.

2.12 Your statutory rights

Nothing in Part 2 limits any mandatory consumer rights under applicable law, including the right of withdrawal described in Part 1. Where local consumer protection law requires refunds or other remedies, those rights prevail.
